Lion’s Den ING Risk Modelling Challenge
Lion’s Den ING Risk Modelling Challenge is a 2-days event for students and graduates, organised by ING Hubs Poland and ING Bank Śląski. Its aim is to familiarise people passionate about data analysis with modern techniques and statistical methods that are used in the context of credit risk assessment. Each year the challenge focuses on specific topic. In 2024 it was credit risk modelling and dynamic intersection of statistical mastery and application of quantum computing.
The event usually takes place in Warsaw in the first quarter of the year. For the contest we look for:
- teams of 3 or 4
- students and graduates* in one of the following: Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economy
- people experienced in building statistical models and data analysis,
- brainiacs whose superpowers is programming in e.g. Python or Julia.
*up to 2 years after graduation
The participants’ is to solve a task prepared by our experts and present the results to the jury. The best ones will receive cash prizes and guaranteed job offers at ING (with a 3-month trial period).
