We are responsible

Helping is simply in our blood!

We act with others in mind because we like to help! That is why we participate in and organise numerous charity and volunteer events. Helping is simply in our blood! 

Only in 2024: 

  • more than 500 of our employees took an additional day off to volunteer 
  •  we organised more than 15 company-wide charity events and dozens of bottom-up initiatives 
  • we donated more than PLN 700,000 to various NGOs and educational institutions 

Most importantly, all our social activities are carried out on the initiative of and in response to needs raised by our employees. What exactly did we do? 

  • We organised a football match where our employees from Katowice and Warsaw competed against each other to raise funds for children on the autism spectrum and classes at Spectrum Liberi. 
  • We collected kilometres through various physical activities and, as a result of our actions, we planted tulips in the capital and cleaned up the forests in the centre of Silesia together with the One More Tree Foundation and Municipal Greenery Board in Warsaw.   
  • We commuted to work by bicycle and for every kilometre we collected we donated money to foundations of our choice: Daj herbatę, Tymczasem u Magdy, Serce dla Maluszka, Śląskie Hocpicjum dla Dzieci “Świetlikowo” and Fundację Przyjaciele Palucha. 

That's quite a lot, isn't it? And there was even more! We organised ourselves for various causes such as helping flood victims, helping animals in various shelters, or preparing packages from Santa in cooperation with the ING Dzieciom Foundation! 

What more? Our BeResponsible grant programme, which allows us to submit any charitable initiative, has resulted in 10 projects that have been and are being implemented mainly in Silesia and Mazovia. We support children, the elderly, animals, and the environment! 

Poland Business Run- supporting such initiatives as Poland Business Run is an indispensable element of life at our company! Not only are we the main sponsor of this event every year, but we also constantly break all possible records! Our employees always show that sky is the limit when it comes to helping others. Just check out these numbers: 164 teams consisting of 820 ING Hubs Poland runners completed a total distance of 3,280 km in 2024!
