We are looking for you, if you:

  • have minium 2 years of experience with Oracle database administration,

  • have experience with Operating System Administration be it Windows/Linux,

  • value your time and don’t log in to host to run commands – Infra as a Code is your creed,

  • do not like solving Incidents - you prevent them from happening,

  • like to always be step ahead and use new technologies.

English level - B2/C1

You'll get extra points for:

  • Programming skills (Python or Golang),

  • Ability to optimize code and infra,

  • interest in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodology, IT security and compliance,

  • effective communication, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Your responsibilities:

Our team plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the reliability, availability, and performance of systems. Your responsibilities blend software engineering with IT operations to ensure that services run smoothly and are scalable, efficient, and resilient.

Here are some responsibilities:

  • monitor system performance, uptime, and alerting,

  • conducting reliability interviews with Asset Owners regarding improving reliability of particular products, services,

  • implement solutions to improve system reliability, reduce latency, and increase overall performance,

  • automate repetitive tasks like deployment, scaling, and failover handling,

Information about the squad:

We are a team that ensures the reliability of our services by providing directions, framework and supporting in SRE methodology. You will take part also in defining and reporting metrics, providing technical hands-on assistance for Asset Owners, conducting awareness trainings and sharing the SRE knowledge within the company.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
