Data Analyst for GKYC (Strategic Outlier)

Do you have a previous experience in data management, data analysis and are you a great communicator? Are you familiar with the concepts such as Data Migrations, Master Data Management, Data Visualization? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

You would be joining our Global KYC Delivery Tribe working on the development of state of the art data solutions for socially relevant topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions and their global implementation across 20+ countries, affecting 36 million ING customers. You will deliver our customers an optimal KYC experience whilst remaining compliant and in control of the gatekeeper function of the Bank.

Our Global Know Your Customer organization is a department inside ING Global providing all ING entities with standardized solutions in various KYC related processes.

What you'll do:

  • You will help ING prevent Money Laundering and Financial Crimes globally;
  • Solving complex IT/Data problems and challenges;
  • You will define Data Democratization processes so that the Data can be used efficiently and consistently;

How to succeed

  • You have a minimum bachelor’s degree (IT, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • You are an energetic & approachable professional;
  • You are a strong analytical and abstract thinker;
  • Communication skills
    • You have excellent communication, presentation, networking and influencing skills;
    • Able to independently connect with different (internal) stakeholders to understand processes/procedures and use them (eg. connecting to DAP related squads to set up the environment)
    • You are fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Technical knowledge
    • Strong SQL skills is a must, with experience in querying large scale data sets (2+ years)
    • Has used Python to query data (a plus)
    • Able to translate functional datasets (data model), and able to determine connection between datasets (KYC data is a plus)
    • Strong Power BI experience in dashboarding (DAX expert is a plus)
